Coming into operation

The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety(1) makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 23(1) of Schedule 3 to, the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1991(2) having considered it appropriate in the interests of the health and personal social services.
In accordance with paragraph 23(3) of Schedule 3 to that Order the prescribed consultation has taken place with the relevant Health and Social Services Councils and staff interests (3).
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Services Trusts (Dissolution) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2007.
Dissolution of Health and Social Services Trust
2. The Health and Social Services trusts listed in Schedule 1 are dissolved.
Revocation
3. The statutory rules listed in Schedule 2 are revoked

This Order provides for the dissolution of the health and social services trusts listed in Schedule 1 on 1st April 2007.
It revokes the health and social services trust establishment orders, as amended, listed in Schedule 2 from that date.
