The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development[1], in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Seeds Act (Northern Ireland) 1965[2], after consultation with representatives of such interests as appear to it to be concerned, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Seed Potatoes (Tuber Inspection Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 and shall come into operation on 28th August 2006.
Amendment of the Seed Potatoes (Tuber Inspection Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006
2. —(1) The Seed Potatoes (Tuber Inspection Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006[3] shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) to (4).
(2) In regulation 1(2) the definition of "official document" shall be omitted.
(3) In regulation 3(a)(i), for the word "indicted" there shall be substituted "indicated".
(4) In regulation 3(b), for the word "who" there shall be substituted "whom" and the words "or official documents" shall be omitted.

These Regulations remove the definition of "official document" in the Seed Potatoes (Tuber Inspection Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 (S.R. 2006 No. 187) and correct a spelling and a grammatical error.
