The Department for Employment and Learning[1], in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999[2], and now vested in it[3], and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: Citation 1. This Order may be cited as the Employment Relations (1999 Order) (Commencement No. 8) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005. Commencement 2. The following provisions of Schedule 7 to the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 shall come into operation on 24th September 2005 –
(b) paragraph 4 to the extent that it inserts Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[4].
(This note is not part of the Order) This Order brings into operation on 24th September 2005, paragraphs 3 and 4 (to the extent that it inserts Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981) and paragraph 6 of Schedule 7 to the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999. These paragraphs make amendments to Article 7 (Charges), Article 11(2) (Interpretation) and inserts into Article 9 (Offences: cost of investigation) a new Article 9B into the Employment (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Northern Ireland) Order 1981. (This note is not part of the Order) The following provisions of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 have been brought into operation by Commencement Order made before the date of this Order:
