(a) sections 43 (information to be given to the Authority) and 44 (modification of scheme to secure winding-up);

(b) section 45(1) (reports about winding-up) in so far as it inserts - 


(i) Article 72A(1) and (2) into the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1995[2],

(ii) Article 72A(3), except for the words "Subject to paragraph (4)," and "(apart from any postponement under paragraph (4))", into that Order, and

(iii) Article 72A(7), (8)(a) and (9) into that Order;



(c) sections 45(2) and (3) and 46 (directions for facilitating winding-up); and

(d) Part III(2) of Schedule 9 (repeals: information to be given by the Authority) and section 67 in so far as it relates to those repeals,

for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations is 1st March 2002 and for all other purposes is 1st April 2002.

    (2) The day appointed for the coming into operation of section 50 (investigations by the Pensions Ombudsman), for the purpose only of authorising the making of rules, is 1st March 2002.

Amendment of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security (2000 Act) (Commencement No. 6) Order
     3. Article 2(d) of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security (2000 Act) (Commencement No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2001[3] shall be omitted.
