The Secretary of State in pursuance of Articles 5(4) and 8(4) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Northern Ireland) Order 1978[1] hereby makes the following Order: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2001 and shall come into operation on 14th August 2001. (2) In this Order "the 1979 Order" means the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order (Northern Ireland) 1979[2]. Amendment of the 1979 Order 2. This Order amends the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order (Northern Ireland) 1979 by excepting work which is concerned with the provision of health services and which is of such a kind as to enable the holder to have access to persons in receipt of such services in the course of his normal duties.
