(b) the following sub-paragraphs shall be inserted after sub-paragraph (c) -
(e) text indicating the range of bets available in the licensed office concerned; and (f) text providing information relating to any event in connection with which betting transactions may be or have been effected in the licensed office concerned, including information as to the odds available on any particular event."
(This note is not part of the Regulations.) These Regulations amend the Bookmaking (Licensed Offices) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1987 in relation to advertisements which may be published outside a licensed bookmaking office and the display of notices inside such an office. The Regulations remove the restriction on the positioning of statutory notices which set out the bookmaker's terms of trade, allowing them to be visible from outside the premises. The Regulations also extend the range of matters in respect of which text may be included in an advertisement and remove the prohibition on advertisements which consist of, or include, moving displays or moving images.
