SOCIAL SECURITY The Social Security Administration (Fraud) (1997 Order) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997
The Department of Health and Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 1(2) of the Social Security Administration (Fraud) (Northern Ireland) Order 1997[1] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security Administration (Fraud) (1997 Order) (Commencement No. 4) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997. (2) In this Order "the Order" means the Social Security Administration (Fraud) (Northern Ireland) Order 1997.
2.(1) The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 14 of the Order (penalty as alternative to prosecution), paragraph 7(a) of Schedule 1 to the Order (minor and consequential amendments) and Article 19(1) of the Order in so far as it relates to that paragraph
(2) The day appointed for the coming into operation of paragraphs 5 and 7(d) of Schedule 1 to the Order and Article 19(1) of the Order in so far as it relates to those paragraphs is, 18th December 1997.
