Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (Driver Training) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1997

Made 20th May 1997
Coming into operation 1st July 1997


ARRANGEMENT OF REGULATIONS

1.  Citation, commencement and interpretation.
2.  Application.
3.  Instruction and training for drivers.
4.  Vocational training certificates.
5.  Existing training certificates.
6.  Certificates to be available during carriage.
7.  Certificates to be produced to police constables, etc.
8.  Enforcement.
9.  Exemption certificates.
10.  Defence.
11.  Transitional defence.
12.  Revocations.

  Schedule 1.  Cases where the carriage of dangerous goods is not carriage to which these Regulations apply.

  Schedule 2.  Cases where the carriage of dangerous goods (other than explosives and radioactive material) is not carriage to which these Regulations apply by virtue of regulation 2(1)(a).

  Schedule 3.  Minimum training requirements for issue of vocational training certificates.

  Schedule 4.  Fees on applications for approvals.
