HEALTH AND PERSONAL SOCIAL SERVICES

The Craigavon and Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust (Establishment) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997

The Department of Health and Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 10(1) of, and paragraphs 1 and 3A of Schedule 3 to, the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 1991^[1] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following order:

Citation and commencement
    1.    This order may be cited as the Craigavon and Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust (Establishment) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 23rd April 1997.

Amendment of the establishment order
    2.—(1)  The Craigavon and Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust (Establishment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993^[2] shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2).

    (2)  For Article 3A (operational area of the trust) there shall be substituted—
    "3A.    The operational area of the trust shall be—
(a) for the purposes of the statutory provisions specified in Part I of the Schedule, the local government district of Craigavon and the local government district of Banbridge, with the exception of the ward of Rathfriland;

(b) for the purposes of the statutory provisions specified in Part II of the Schedule, Northern Ireland." .

This order amends the Craigavon and Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust (Establishment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1993 (S.R. 1993 No. 456) with effect from 23rd April 1997 by redefining the operational area of the trust.
