ROAD TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES One-Way Traffic (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997
WHEREAS the Department of the Environment has published a notice in compliance with Article 23(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[1];
1. This Order may be cited as the One-Way Traffic (Belfast) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 1997 and shall come into operation on 21st July 1997.
2. Schedule 2 to the One-Way Traffic (Belfast) Order (Northern Ireland) 1986[2] shall be amended by the addition thereto of the following items

Any person who acts in contravention of the Order shall be guilty of an offence under the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (£1,000). Traffic signs indicating the effect of the Order will in due course be erected on the roads.
