4A.(1) The Department shall ensure that measurements are taken, at regular intervals, of asbestos discharges (made in accordance with a consent granted under regulation 4(1)) into the aquatic environment. (2) For the purpose of checking compliance with the limits specified in that consent the sampling and analysis procedures and methods shall be in conformity with those described in the Annex to the Directive or with any other procedure or method which gives equivalent results."
