STATUTORY MATERNITY PAY The Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996
The Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 163(1)(c) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992[1] and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 6th April 1996.
2. In regulation 3 of the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) and Miscellaneous Amendment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1994[2] (amount of additional payment to which a small employer shall be entitled)
3. Regulation 2(b) of the Statutory Maternity Pay (Compensation of Employers) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1995[3] is hereby revoked.
