MAGISTRATES' COURTS Magistrates' Courts (Family Law Act 1986) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1996
The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 13 of the Magistrates' Courts (Northern Ireland) Order 1981[1], section 27 of the Family Law Act 1986[2] and all other powers enabling him in that behalf on the advice of the Magistrates' Courts Rules Committee and after consultation with the Lord Chief Justice, hereby makes the following rules:
1. These Rules may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts (Family Law Act 1986) (Amendment) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1996 and shall come into operation on 18th March 1996.
2. The Magistrates' Courts (Family Law Act 1986) Rules (Northern Ireland) 1988[3] shall be amended as follows:(1) in Rule 2(1):
(2) in Rule 3(3) for the words "of the appropriate court or to both, as the case may be" there shall be substituted the words "or to the Chief Registrar, or to more than one of those persons as the case may be"; (3) in Rule 4(1) for the words "or to both as the case may be" there shall be substituted the words "or to the Chief Registrar or to more than one of those persons as the case may be"; (4) in Form 1
