The Secretary of State for Transport deems it necessary in the public interest to restrict flying in the vicinity of certain nuclear installations and, in exercise of the powers conferred under article 96 of the Air Navigation Order 2005(1), makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Nuclear Installations) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and come into force on 16th January 2009.
2. The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Nuclear Installations) Regulations 2007(2) are amended as follows.
3. In Schedule 2, in column 3 of the entry for Rosyth, for “560121N 0032709W” substitute “560147N 0032703W”.

These Regulations make a small change to the position of the restricted area over the nuclear installation at Rosyth. This is in order to re-centre the restricted zone over the one remaining nuclear facility at Rosyth Dockyard. The change will be notified in the United Kingdom Aeronautical Information Publication.
