The Secretary of State is designated(1) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2) in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Community, and makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section.

Title and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries and Aquaculture Structures (Grants) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and come into force on 20th June 2008.

Amendment

2.  In regulation 17(1) of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Structures (Grants) (England) Regulations 2001(3), for “the statutory maximum” substitute “level 5 on the standard scale”.
