The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 128(2) of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005(1), makes the following Order:

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) (Amendment) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 1st June 2007.

(2) This Order extends to England and Wales only.

2.  The Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order 2007(2) is amended by substituting the map set out in the Schedule to this Order (New Map for Chequers Site) for the map set out in Schedule 1 (the Chequers Site) to that Order.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order 2007 to substitute a new map for the map in Schedule 1 to that Order so as to correct errors in that map. The map sets out the part of the Chequers Estate that is to be designated for the purposes of section 128 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005.
