      The M4 Motorway (Theale to Winnersh Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1968 (Variation) Scheme 2006

        Made 31st August 2006 
        Coming into force 22nd September 2006 

      The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by sections 16, 17, 19 and 326 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

           1. This Scheme may be cited as the M4 Motorway (Theale to Winnersh Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1968 (Variation) Scheme 2006 and shall come into force on 22nd September 2006.

          
      2. The M4 Motorway (Theale to Winnersh Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1968[2] is hereby varied as follows:

          (i) for the schedule to that Scheme substitute the schedule to this Scheme;

          (ii) for the definition of "the deposited plan" in article 4 of that Scheme, substitute "means the plan numbered HA16MP/008 marked "The M4 Motorway (Theale to Winnersh Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1968 (Variation) Scheme 2006" and deposited at ODPM-DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA".

      THE SCHEDULE

      THE ROUTES OF THE SPECIAL ROADS


      Junction with the Reading—Basingstoke Road (A33) at Three Mile Cross, Reading

      The routes of the special roads are routes to connect the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the M4 motorway with a roundabout which forms the Reading—Basingstoke Road to be reconstructed in pursuance of The Reading Borough Council (M4 Junction 11/A33 Reading to Basingstoke Classified Road) (Side Roads and other Works) Order 2003.
