The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004[1]: Citation 1. This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (Codes of Practice) (Early Leavers, Late Payment of Contributions and Trustee Knowledge and Understanding) Appointed Day Order 2006. Appointed day 2. The day appointed for the purposes of section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004 (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) for the coming into effect of—
(b) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 5: Reporting late payment of contributions to occupational money purchase schemes; (c) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 6: Reporting late payment of contributions to personal pensions; and (d) the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 7: Trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU),
is 30th May 2006. (This note is not part of the Order) This Order appoints the day for the purposes of section 91(9) (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) of the Pensions Act 2004 (c.35) ("the Act") for the coming into effect of— —the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 4: Early leavers – reasonable periods; —the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 5: Reporting late payment of contributions to occupational money purchase schemes; —the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 6: Reporting late payment of contributions to personal pensions; and —the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 7: Trustee knowledge and understanding (TKU), as 30th May 2006. An assessment of the impact on business, charities or the voluntary sector of the provisions of these Regulations was included in the Regulatory Impact Assessment that accompanied the Act. A copy of that assessment has been placed in the libraries of both Houses of Parliament.
