The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Trade Marks Act 1994[1], makes the following Order: Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Marks (International Registration) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 12th April 2006. 2. In article 10A(1A) and article 13(1B) of the Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 1996[2], for "comptroller" substitute "registrar". Barry Gardiner Minister for Competitiveness Department of Trade and Industry 7th April 2006 (This note is not part of the Order) This Order correct articles 10A(1A) and 13(1B) of the Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 1996 (SI 1996/714). These provisions were amended incorrectly by the Trade Marks (International Registration) (Amendment) Order (SI 2006/763). This Order substitutes the word "registrar" for the word "comptroller" in those articles. Notes: [1] 1994 c.26.back [2] SI 1996/714, amended by SI 2002/692, 2004/948 and 2006/763; there are other amending instruments but none is relevant.back
