This Statutory Instrument has been printed to correct errors in SI 1996/714 caused by amendments made to that Statutory Instrument by SI 2006/763. This Statutory Instrument is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of SI 2006/763.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Trade Marks Act 1994[1], makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Trade Marks (International Registration) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 12th April 2006.
2. In article 10A(1A) and article 13(1B) of the Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 1996[2], for "comptroller" substitute "registrar".

This Order correct articles 10A(1A) and 13(1B) of the Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 1996 (SI 1996/714). These provisions were amended incorrectly by the Trade Marks (International Registration) (Amendment) Order (SI 2006/763). This Order substitutes the word "registrar" for the word "comptroller" in those articles.
