The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 15(1) and 80 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974[1]—
(b) it appearing to him that the modifications in regulation 2 are expedient and it also appearing to him that there are no bodies to consult in respect of such modifications in accordance with section 80(4) of the 1974 Act, hereby makes the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force as respects all regulations except for regulation 2(3) on 10th April 2006 and as respects regulation 2(3) on 1st October 2006. Amendment of the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006 2. —(1) Paragraph 4 of Schedule 6 to the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006[2] shall be amended as follows. (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations amend the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006 (S.I. 2006/599). The effect of the amendment is to include an amendment to Schedule 4 to the Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 9 Restrictions on Disclosure of Information) (Amendment and Specification) Order 2003 (S.I. 2003/1400) which from the 1st October 2006 omits from that Schedule reference to the Railways (Safety Case) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/2688) and from 10th April 2006 adds reference in that Schedule to Parts 2 and 3 of the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006.
