      The Copyright (Gibraltar) Revocation Order 2006

        Made 11th April 2006 
        Coming into force in accordance with Article 1

      At the Court at Windsor Castle, the 11th day of April 2006

      Present,

      The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

      Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 157(2) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988[1] is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:

           1. This Order may be cited as the Copyright (Gibraltar) Revocation Order 2006 and shall come into force on such date as the Governor of Gibraltar may appoint by proclamation published in the Gazette of Gibraltar.

          
      2. The Copyright (Gibraltar) Order 2005[2] is revoked.

      EXPLANATORY NOTE

      (This note is not part of the Order)


      This Order revokes the Copyright (Gibraltar) Order 2005 which extended to Gibraltar, with exceptions and modifications as specified in that Order, the copyright provisions contained in Part I and Schedule I of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
