The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 75 of the Reserve Forces Act 1996 [1] hereby make the following Order: Citation, commencement, interpretation 1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Reserve Forces (Provision of Information by Persons Liable to be Recalled) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 5th December 2005. (2) In these Regulations "the 1997 Regulations" means the Reserve Forces (Provision of Information by Persons Liable to be Recalled) Regulations 1997[2]. Amendment of the 1997 Regulations 2. In regulation 4(2)(b)of the 1997 Regulations for the words "his marital status" there shall be substituted "his marital or civil partnership status".
