The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 51 of the Inquiries Act 2005[1], having consulted the Scottish Ministers, the National Assembly for Wales and the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland in accordance with sections 45(3)[2] and 51(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order: Citation 1. This Order may be cited as the Inquiries Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005. Commencement of the Inquiries Act 2005 2. The Inquiries Act 2005 shall come into force on 7 June 2005.
