Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6)(b) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows: Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 17th May 2004. Designation as body subject to investigation 2. Each of the bodies listed in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (established by the Statutory Instrument for which the reference is given in column 2) is designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2(1)(c) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (health service bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner) applies.
