The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 279 of the Enterprise Act 2002[1] hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and interpretation 1.
- (1) This Order may be cited as the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 5 and Amendment) Order 2003.
(2) In this Order references to sections are references to sections of the Enterprise Act 2002.
Amendment to Schedule 2 to the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2003 2.
- (1) Schedule 2 to the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2003[2] is amended as follows.
(2) For the words "section 270 (fees)" there is substituted "section 270(3)".
(3) The words "section 271 (Insolvency Services Account: interest)" are omitted.
Appointed day 3.
The day appointed for the bringing into force of sections 270(1), (2) and (4) and section 271 is the day after the day on which this Order is made.

This Order makes provision for the earlier commencement of sections 270(1), (2) and (4) and section 271 of the Enterprise Act 2002. These were due to come into force on the 1st April 2004 by virtue of article 2(2) of, and Schedule 2 to, the Enterprise Act 2002 (Commencement No. 4 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2003. They will now come into force on the day after the day on which this order is made.
