The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 14 of the Local Land Charges Act 1975[1], and with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Rules: Citation and commencement 1. These Rules may be cited as the Local Land Charges (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into force on 3rd November 2003. Amendment to Schedule 3 to the Local Land Charges Rules 1977 2. For Schedule 3 to the Local Land Charges Rules 1977[2] substitute the Schedule in the Schedule to these Rules. Revocation 3. The Local Land Charges (Amendment) Rules 1998[3] are revoked. (This note is not part of the Rules) These Rules alter the fees payable in connection with the registration of local land charges fixed by the Local Land Charges (Amendment) Rules 1998 (S.I. 1998/1190). The table below sets out the fee changes. Where a requisition for a search of the whole register is made by electronic means in accordance with rule 16 a reduced fee of £4.00 is introduced.
