The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 28(3) of the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003[1], makes the following Order: Citation 1. This Order may be cited as the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2003. Commencement of provisions in European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 2. The following provisions of the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 shall come into force in Gibraltar on 1st June 2003:
(b) section 28(2) so far as it relates to those provisions.
(This note is not part of the Order) This Order is the first commencement Order made under the European Parliament (Representation) Act 2003 and brings into force in Gibraltar on 1st June 2003 the provisions of the Act concerning power to bring other provisions of the Act into force in Gibraltar.
