The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 1(8) of the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993[1], makes the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993 (Addition of Qualifying Judicial Offices) Order 2003 and comes into force on 30th June 2003. 2. In Part 2 of Schedule 1 (offices which may be qualifying judicial offices) to the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993, after the entry relating to a member of a panel constituted under article 7(1) of the Social Security (Northern Ireland) Order 1998, insert -
(This note is not part of the Order) This Order adds to the list of offices eligible for judicial pensions under the Judicial Pensions and Retirement Act 1993 that of Adjudicator to Her Majesty's Land Registry.
