      The M62 Motorway (Rawcliffe to Balkholme Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1971 (Variation) Scheme 2003

        Made 17th March 2003 
        Coming into force 3rd April 2003 

      The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by sections 16, 17, 19 and 326 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

           1. This Scheme may be cited as the M62 Motorway (Rawcliffe to Balkholme Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1971 (Variation) Scheme 2003 and shall come into force on 3rd April 2003.

          
      2. The M62 Motorway (Rawcliffe to Balkholme Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1971[2] is hereby varied as follows:

        (b) for paragraph 1 of the Schedule to that scheme, substitute - 

             " 1. Junction with Rawcliffe Road (A614) near Goole in the County of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
        The routes of the special roads for effecting this junction are routes to connect the north-eastbound and south-westbound carriageways of the Motorway with a length of road and roundabouts to be improved as a part of Rawcliffe Road. The centre lines of these special roads are shown on Map No. 1 in the deposited plan where they are respectively given the reference numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

          (a) in article 4 of that scheme, substitute definition of "the deposited plan" with - 

          "the deposited plans" means the plan numbered 2 in folio numbered HA11/CNE 5 marked "the M62 Motorway (Rawcliffe to Balkholme Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1971" and the plan numbered 1 in the plan folio HA 18/0D/27 marked M62 Motorway (Rawcliffe to Balkholme Section) Connecting Roads Scheme 1971 (Variation) Scheme 2003 signed by the Secretary of State and deposited at ODPM-DfT, Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA;"
