Whereas a draft of this Order, being the first to be made under paragraph 17(4) of Schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000[1], has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House; Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 17(4) of Schedule 7 to that Act, hereby makes the following Order: 1. This Order may be cited as the Schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000 (Information) Order 2002 and shall come into force on the expiry of the period of one month beginning with the day on which this Order is made. 2. The information listed in the Schedule to this Order is hereby prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 17(4) of Schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000. (ii) gender, (iii) date and place of birth, (iv) home address, and (v) nationality; and
(b) where the person has a travel document -
(ii) its number, (iii) its country of issue, and (iv) its expiry date.

The number of items that a passenger has placed in the hold of an aircraft.
(b) the address from which the goods were collected, (c) the address to which the goods are to be delivered, and (d) the registration number of that vehicle.

The following information about goods which are not carried on a vehicle, namely -
(b) the method of payment for the carriage of the goods, and (c) the name or number of any container in which the goods are placed.
(This note is not part of the Order) Under paragraph 17(2) of Schedule 7 to the Terrorism Act 2000, an examining officer (as defined by paragraph 1(1) of that Schedule) may give the owners or agents of a ship or aircraft falling within paragraph 17(1) (as substituted by section 119(2) of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001) a written request to provide specified information and the owners or agents are required to comply with that request. Information may be specified in a request only if it is of a kind prescribed by order of the Secretary of State and which relates to the items listed in paragraph 17(4) (as amended by section 119(3) of the 2001 Act).
