AGGREGATES LEVY

The Finance Act 2001, section 16, (Appointed Day) Order 2002

  Made 25th March 2002 

The Treasury, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 16(6) of the Finance Act 2001[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Finance Act 2001, section 16, (Appointed Day) Order 2002.

    
2. The date appointed as the commencement date for the purposes of section 16 of the Finance Act 2001 is 1st April 2002.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order appoints 1st April 2002 as the commencement date for the purpose of section 16 of the Finance Act 2001 (c.9), which contains the charging provisions for aggregates levy.
