The Education (Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2002

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of sections 4(1) and (4) of the School Inspections Act 1996[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st June 2002.

    
2. Miss Susan Lewis is hereby re-appointed Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales for a period of five years commencing on 1st June 2002.

    
3. The Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1997[2] is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order re-appoints Susan Lewis to be Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales for a further period of five years from 1st June 2002. Her present appointment under the Education (Chief Inspector of Schools in Wales) Order 1997 ends on 31st May 2002. That Order is revoked by the present Order.
