The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 425(2) of the Greater London Authority Act[1] hereby makes the following Order:
Citation 1.
This Order may be cited as the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2001.
Commencement 2.
Section 254 of, and Schedule 21 to, the Greater London Authority Act 1999 shall, so far as not already in force, come into force on 7th November 2001.

This Order brings into force on 7th November 2001 section 254 of, and Schedule 21 to, the Greater London Authority Act 1999 in so far as those provisions are not already in force. Section 254 contains provisions in relation to the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 and Schedule 21 amends the 1998 Act.
