The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 275(1) and (2) of the Transport Act 2000[1] hereby makes the following Order: - Citation and interpretation 1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 2000 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2001. Provisions coming into force in England 2. The provisions of the Transport Act 2000 specified in the Schedule to this Order shall come into force on 26th October 2001 as respects England. Section 153, in so far as it is not already in force (and accordingly Schedule 10 in so far as it is not already in force). Section 161, in so far as it relates to paragraphs 1, 6 to 8, 10(2), 14 and 21 of Schedule 11 and to paragraph 22 of that Schedule, in so far as it is not already in force. Section 274, in so far as it relates to the entry in Part II of Schedule 31 relating to section 104(2) of the Transport Act 1985. (This note is not part of the Order) This Order brings into force on 26th October 2001 as respects England the provisions of the Transport Act 2000 relating to quality partnership and quality contract schemes and a minor repeal. (This note is not part of the Order) The following provisions of the Transport Act 2000 have been, or will be, brought into force in accordance with commencement orders made before the date of this Order -
