NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, ENGLAND

The North Middlesex Hospital National Health Service Trust (Change of Name) Order 2001

  Made 3rd July 2001 
  Coming into force 31st July 2001 

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990[2] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after completion of the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of the latter Act[3], hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the North Middlesex Hospital National Health Service Trust (Change of Name) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 31st July 2001.

    (2) In this Order - 

    "the trust" means the National Health Service trust established by the Order.

Change of name of NHS trust
     2. The trust shall be called the North Middlesex University Hospital National Health Service Trust instead of the North Middlesex Hospital National Health Service Trust, and accordingly - 

Transitional provisions
    
3. The changes of name under this Order shall not -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order changes the name of an NHS trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 from the North Middlesex Hospital National Health Service Trust to the North Middlesex University Hospital National Health Service Trust, and makes consequential amendments to that Order and transitional provisions.
