The A15 Norman Cross to Grimsby Trunk Road (Tillbridge Lane Junction Improvement) Order 2001

  Made 11th June 2001 
  Coming into force 21st June 2001 

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the A15 Norman Cross to Grimsby Trunk Road (Tillbridge Lane Junction Improvement) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 21st June 2001.

    (2) In this Order, all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.

    
2. The length of highway described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road from the date when this order comes into force.

    
3. The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA 10/PS/269, marked "The A15 Norman Cross to Grimsby Trunk Road (Tillbridge Lane Junction Improvement) Order 2001", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and deposited at Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions, Room F13 Ashdown House, Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex TN37 7GA.

THE SCHEDULE
The length of new highway becoming trunk road is:

    The A15 Norman Cross to Grimsby Trunk Road, from a point 150 metres south of its existing junction with A1500 Horncastle Lane in the county of Lincolnshire, to a point 170 metres north of its junction with A1500 Horncastle Lane in the county of Lincolnshire, a distance of 330 metres.
