The Court Funds (Amendment) Rules 2001

  Made 5th March 2001 
  Laid before Parliament 6th March 2001 
  Coming into force 1st April 2001 

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 38(7) of the Administration of Justice Act 1982[1], and with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Rules:

     1. These Rules may be cited as the Court Funds (Amendment) Rules 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

    
2. In rule 2(2) of the Court Funds Rules 1987[2], in the definition of "Court Funds Office", for "Public Trust Office" there shall be substituted "Court Service".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Rules)


These Rules amend the definition of the Court Funds Office as a consequence of the transfer, with effect from 1st April 2001, of the Court Funds Office from the Public Trust Office to the Court Service.
