The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 4(5) of Schedule 5 to the Air Navigation Order 2000[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 14th August 2000. 2. The Air Navigation (General) Regulations 1993[2] shall be amended by substituting in regulation 18 for "For the purposes of article 39(1), the following airspace is hereby prescribed, that is to say " " For the purposes of article 47(1) of the Air Navigation Order 2000 the following airspace is hereby prescribed as North Atlantic Minimum Navigation Performance Specification Airspace, that is to say".
