HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A63 Trunk Road (Selby Road Junction) Order 1994 (Variation) Order 2000

  Made 17th April 2000 
  Coming into force 26th May 2000 

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 41 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1. The Order may be cited as The A63 Trunk Road (Selby Road Junction) Order 1994 (Variation) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 26th May 2000.

    
2. The A63 Trunk Road (Selby Road Junction) Order 1994[3] is hereby varied as follows:

    (a) For article 2 to that Order substitute - 

         " 2. The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force".

    (b) The deposited plan to this Order numbered HA10/PS/191 and marked "The A63 Trunk Road (Selby Road Junction) Order 1994 (Variation) Order 2000", signed by the authority of the Secretary of State at the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR, shall be substituted for the plan numbered HA10/YHCPD53 marked the A63 Trunk Road (Selby Road Junction) Order 1994 which shall be disregarded; and

    (c) the Schedule to that Order shall become Schedule 1 and the Schedule to this Order which is numbered 2 is added to that Order.

SCHEDULE 2

ROUTES OF THE NEW TRUNK ROADS


The routes of the trunk roads are in the City of Leeds in the County of West Yorkshire. The route of the new trunk road is about 1110 metres in length from a point on the proposed eastbound entry slip road at the A63 Trunk Road roundabout (Austhorpe Junction) (marked "B" on the plan) in a generally north easterly direction to and including a roundabout then in a generally south easterly direction to pass under the Motorway to and including a roundabout, and then in a generally south westerly direction to a point on the proposed westbound slip road at the A63 Trunk Road roundabout (Austhorpe Junction) (marked "C" on the plan).
