CUSTOMS AND EXCISE

The Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 5) Order 1999

  Made 17th September 1999 
  Coming into force 18th September 1999 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of powers conferred by section 1 of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939[1] and now vested in him[2], hereby makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 5) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 18th September 1999.

    
2. The Order made and coming into force on 16th September 1999 which amends Schedule 3 to the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994[3] and is numbered S.I. 1999/2609 may be cited as "the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1999".

     3. In Article 2 of the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1999 there shall be added, "and may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1999" after the words "16th September 1999".

This Order inserts into the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 4) Order 1999 provision for its citation which was omitted in error from the original Order.
