The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 12G(2) of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1. - (1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Appointment of Trustees) (Scotland) Order 1999, and shall come into force on 9th April 1999.
