The Rail Vehicle Accessibility (Midland Metro T69 Vehicles) Exemption (Amendment) Order 1999

  Made 5th March 1999 
  Laid before Parliament 9th March 1999 
  Coming into force 1st April 1999 

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 47 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having consulted the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee in accordance with section 47(3) of the said Act, hereby makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Rail Vehicle Accessibility (Midland Metro T69 Vehicles) Exemption (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

    
2. Article 5(2) of the Rail Vehicle Accessibility (Midland Metro T69 Vehicles) Exemption Order 1999[2] shall be amended by substituting "31st March 2001" for "31st December 2010".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends The Rail Vehicle Accessibility (Midland Metro T69 Vehicles) Exemption Order 1999 by substituting 31st March 2001 for 31st December 2010 as the termination date for one of the exemptions granted by that Order.
