The Development Board for Rural Wales (Abolition) Order 1999

  Made 8th February 1999 
  Coming into force 28th February 1999 

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 133(1) and 154(1) of the Government of Wales Act 1998[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation, commencement and interpretation
     1.  - (1) This Order may be cited as the Development Board for Rural Wales (Abolition) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 28th February 1999.

    (2) In this Order-

    "the Board" means the Development Board for Rural Wales.

Abolition of the Board
    
2. The Board is hereby abolished.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order abolishes the Development Board for Rural Wales which was established under the Development of Rural Wales Act 1976[
