Ward 16 Newton

Commencing on the A866 road and the southern boundary of EW 18 at NG Ref NB 4834 3201; then eastward and northeastward along the said EW boundary to NG Ref 5121 3310 where the A866 road is met by an unnamed road; then southeastward along the said unnamed road to NG Ref NB 5146 3291 where it meets a track at the southeastern corner of a car park; then northeastward along the said track to and continuing northeastward along the southeastern boundaries of the Garrabost Allotments to the eastern boundary of No 12 Garrobost.; then northward following the eastern boundary of the said property to the southern curtilage of the Manse; then eastward along the said curtilage and the southern boundaries of the Garrabost Allotments to a track at NG Ref NB 5238 3357; then southeastward along the said track to where it crosses Alltna Muilne at NG Ref NB 5290 3338; then due southeast in a straight line to the point where it meets the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then southwestward and northwestward along the said Council boundary to the southern boundary of EW 18; then eastward along the said boundary to the point of commencement.

Ward 20 Tiumpan
Commencing where the eastern boundary of EW 18 meets the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar at NG Ref NB 5113 3381; then northeastward, eastward, southward and southwestward along the said council boundary to the eastern boundary of EW 19; then generally northwestward, westward, southwestward and northwestward along the said EW boundary to the eastern boundary of EW 18; then northwestward, northeastward, northwestward and northeastward along the said EW boundary to the point of commencement.

Ward 21 North Lochs
Commencing at NG Ref NB 2745 2553 on the eastern boundary of EW 5; then generally northeastward along the said EW boundary to the southern boundary of EW 10; then southeastward and generally northeastward along the said EW boundary to and southeastward along the southern boundary of EW 12 to the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then southeastward and southward along the said council boundary to a point south of Stac Thabhaidh in line with NG Ref NB 3867 2303; then northwestward to that point and continuing northwestward in a straight line to the point of commencement.

Ward 22 Lochs
Commencing at NG Ref NB 2745 2553 where the eastern boundary of EW 5 meets the southern boundary of EW 21; then southeastward along the southern boundary of EW 21 to the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then generally southward, southwestward and northwestward along the said council boundary to a point in the mouth of Loch Seaforth west of Sgeir Hal; then northwestward along the centre line of Loch Seaforth passing to the west of Seaforth Island to the mouth of the Abhainn a' Mhuil; then northwestward to and along the said burn to NG Ref NB 1896 1276; then northwestward in a straight line to the summit of Mullach Vigadale at NG Ref NB 1737 1299; then southwestward in a straight line to Mullach a' Ruisg, NG Ref NB 1682 1271; then southwestward in a straight line to the confluence of the Gil Mhor a' Mho and the Langadale River on the southern boundary of EW 6 at NG Ref NB 1501 1204; then generally northeastward along the said EW boundary to the southern boundary of EW 5; then northeastward along the eastern boundary of EW 5 to the point of commencement.

Ward 24 Harris East
Commencing at NG Ref NB 1737 1299 on the summit of Mullach Vigadale on the western boundary of EW 22; then eastward and southeastward along the said EW boundary to the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then southward, westward and northwestward along the said council boundary to the eastern boundary of EW 23; then generally northwestward and northeastward along the said EW boundary to the point of commencement.

Note: EW 24 includes Scalpay, Scotasay and all the islands along its eastern coastal extent.

Ward 25 Paible
Commencing on the western boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar where it meets the southern boundary of EW 23; then generally eastward and southeastward along the said EW boundary to the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then southwestward along the said council boundary to a point in line with the mouth of Loch Maddy; then westward to and northwestward along the centre line of the said loch passing to the south of Flodday, Ferramas Cliasay More, Cliasay Beg and Kellasay Beg to a point in line with the Standing Stones at NG Ref NF 8876 7171; then westward in a straight line to the said point; then southwestward in a straight line to the triangulation point at NG Ref NF 8086 7003; then northwestward in a straight line to the point where an unclassified road leading from Ardhesken crosses the Abhainn a' Charra at NG Ref NF 7894 7013; then southwestward along the said unclassified road to the A865 road; then southeastward along the A865 road to the point where it crosses an unnamed burn flowing westward from Loch Dusary; then generally westward along the southern shore of an unnamed loch on the west side of the A865 road to and generally southward along an unnamed burn flowing from the said loch and the continuation thereof to the western boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then northwestward and northeastward along the said council boundary to the point of commencement.

Ward 26 Lochmaddy
Commencing on the western boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar where it meets the southern boundary of EW 25; then generally northeastward and southeastward along the said EW boundary to the eastern boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then southwestward along the said council boundary to a point in line with the mid point of the main water channel between North Uist and Benbecula; then westward to and northwestward along the mid point of the said channel passing to the north of Eilean Leathann, Calavay, Flodda, Eilean Mhic Caoilte and the south of Eilean Arda to a point in line with the mid point of Beul an Toim; then westward to and along the said mid point to the western boundary of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar; then northwestward along the said council boundary to the point of commencement.

Comprises the island of Barra and all the islands along its coastal extent, Fuday, Gighay, Flodday, Muldoanich, Sandray, Pabbay, Mingulay, Berneray, Lingay, Vatersay, Fiaray and Oronsay and all associated islands.
