WATER INDUSTRY, ENGLAND & WALES

The Severn Trent Water Limited (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1998

  Made 23rd September 1998 
  Coming into force 25th September 1998 

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and the Secretary of State for Wales acting jointly, in exercise of powers conferred by section 19(6) of the Water Act 1945[1] and now vested in them[2], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Severn Trent Water Authority (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1998 shall come into force on 25th September 1998.

Extension of byelaws
    
2. The byelaws made by Severn Trent Water Authority on 13th march 1987 and having effect as if made by Severn Trent Water Limited shall remain in force until 31st December 1999.

Revocation
    
3. The Severn Trent Water Limited (Extension of Byelaws) Order 1997[3] is hereby revoked.
