TRANSPORT

The Transport and Works Act 1992 (Commencement No. 7) Order 1998

  Made 5th February 1998 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 70(1) of the Transport and Works Act 1992[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: - 

Citation
     1. This Order may be cited as the Transport and Works Act 1992 (Commencement No. 7) Order 1998.

Provisions coming into force
    
2. The provisions of the Transport and Works Act 1992 specified in the Schedule to this Order (which relate to repeals) shall come into force on 26th February 1998.

This Order brings into force on 26th February 1998 certain repeals provided for in section 68 of, and Schedule 4 to, the Transport and Works Act 1992.
