The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 72(4) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980[1], hereby makes the following Order: Citation and commencement 1 . This Order may be cited as the Water Supply Byelaws (Scotland) Extension of Period Order 1997 and shall come into force on 15th February 1997. Extension of byelaws 2 . The period during which the byelaws specified in the Schedule to this Order remain in force is hereby extended to 31st March 2002.
