ROAD TRAFFIC The Driving Licences (Designation of Relevant External Law) Order 1996
1. This Order may be cited as the Driving Licences (Designation of Relevant External Law) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 1st January 1997.
2. The law for the time being in force in the Isle of Man and the law for the time being in force in Jersey which each correspond to Part III of the Road Traffic Act 1988 are hereby designated as laws which make satisfactory provision for the granting of licences to drive all classes of goods vehicle and all classes of passenger-carrying vehicle.
3. The Driving Licences (Designation of Relevant External Law) Order 1992[3] and the Driving Licences (Designation of Relevant External Law) Order 1994[4] are hereby revoked.
