ROAD TRAFFIC

The Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) (Amendment) Order 1996

Made 5th December 1996
Laid before Parliament 12th December 1996
Coming into force 8th January 1997

    Whereas the council of the London Borough of Redbridge has applied to the Secretary of State for Transport for an order to be made under section 76 of the Road Traffic Act 1991[1] and the Secretary of State has consulted the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with section 76(2) of that Act:
    NOW, the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 76(1) and section 77(6) of Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
    Citation and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) (Amendment) Order 1996 shall come into force on 8th January 1997.
        2.—(1)  The Schedule to the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) Order[2] shall be amended as follows.

        (2)  Paragraph 79 shall be omitted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order amends the Road Traffic (Special Parking Area) (London Borough of Redbridge) Order 1994 by omitting paragraph 79 from the Schedule to the Order. The Schedule lists the roads in the London Borough of Redbridge which are excluded from the special parking area. The road referred to in paragraph 79 of the Schedule is accordingly no longer so excluded.
