NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE,ENGLAND AND WALES

The Dorset Health Authority (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1996

Made 28th October 1996
Laid before Parliament 4th November 1996
Coming into force 25th November 1996

    The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the administration of facilities previously managed by the former South and West Regional Health Authority, having consulted Dorset Health Authority and the National Health Service trusts specified in the Schedule to the Order in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
    Citation, commencement and interpretation
        1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Dorset Health Authority (Transfers of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 25th November 1996.

        (2)  In this Order—
      "the Authority" means Dorset Health Authority;
      "the trust property" means the property held by the Authority, known as the Former South and West Regional Health Authority Trust Fund which was transferred to the Authority on 1st April 1996 by article 2(7)(b) of the Regional Health Authorities (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996[2].

    Transfer of trust property
        2.    On 25th November 1996 there shall be transferred from the Authority to each of the bodies specified in column (1) of the Schedule to this Order such proportion of the trust property as is specified in column (2) of that Schedule in relation to that body.
